Buug’s 6th most wanted person nabbed

POLICE operatives arrested in a law enforcement operation the number six most wanted persons in Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay, an official said Thursday, March 28.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested fugitive as Jiebert Decierdo, 22, a resident of Poblacion village, Buug.

Galvez said Decierdo was arrested after being served a warrant of arrest around 8 p.m. Wednesday in Carmen village, Cagayan de Oro City.

She said Decierdo has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery issued on December 17, 2018 by the court of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay and is listed as the number six most wanted person in the province. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit.
