Cops nab 2 most wanted persons

AUTHORITIES arrested in law enforcement operations two of the most wanted persons in Zamboanga Peninsula, the police reported Monday, September 21.

Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspects as Henry Brasero Doremon, 38, and Anthony De Gaspar Guerrero, 36.

Duco said Doremon was nabbed in a law enforcement operation around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, September 20, in Barangay Mandih, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Doremon has a standing warrant of arrest for murder issued on October 17, 2019 by the court of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay. He has also been listed as the number one most wanted person in Imelda town.

Duco said Guerrero was arrested in another law enforcement operation around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Zone 2 in La Paz village, Zamboanga City.

Guerrero has standing warrant of arrest for rape issued on August 8, 2018 by the court of Zamboanga City. He has also been listed as the number four most wanted person of the Zamboanga City Police Office's Station 1.

Duco said the two wanted persons remain in the temporary custody of the police for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
