DPWH completes P37.5-M projects in Zambo Norte, Sur

THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Zamboanga Peninsula announced Thursday, October 14, 2021, that it has completed the construction of three multi-purpose buildings worth P37.5 million in the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur.

The DPWH said two of the three projects worth P7.9 million were constructed in Santa Maria village, Leon Postigo and Raba National High School in Godod town.

The multi-purpose buildings are intended to be used for various activities of the community and the school, according to the DPWH.

In Zamboanga del Sur, the P29.6 million multi-purpose gymnasium in Dao village, Pagadian City, the capital of the province, is now ready for use.

The gymnasium can serve as venue for conferences, seminars and other events for the residents of Pagadian City and nearby areas.

However, due to the prevailing health pandemic, mass gathering is discouraged and attendees have been limited in order to maintain and observe social distancing set by the Inter-Agency Task Force. (SunStar Zamboanga)
