DPWH to turn over rehabilitated sports complex

THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will formally turn over to the Zamboanga City Government the newly rehabilitated Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex on Wednesday, February 20.

DPWH Undersecretary Dimas Soguilon and Assistant Secretary Maximo Carvajal are expected to cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Also expected to attend are Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, District 1

Representative Celso Lobregat, District 2 Representative Jose Manuel Dalipe, DPWH Regional Director Cayamombao Dia, and Randolf Ivan Ruste of RCDG Construction Corporation.

RCDG undertook the project in a joint venture with RU Aquino Construction. The project had a budget of P199.22 million.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m., after a fun run by DPWH-9 employees at 7 a.m. Wednesday. (Bong Garcia)

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit.
