Ipil’s most wanted nabbed

THE police arrested the most wanted person in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, on Thursday, April 13, a police official said.

Police Major Eric Humpa, Ipil police chief, said Mark Anthony Teves, 25, a resident of Purok Nangka in Barangay Veterans Village, Ipil town, was arrested around 11:15 p.m. in Purok Hayahay in the village of Tiayon, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay with the power of a search warrant.

Humpa said Teves is listed as the number one most wanted person in Ipil and has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder issued by the court.

He said Teves was arrested by a joint team of policemen and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) personnel. (SunStar Philippines)
