Most wanted person in Ipil falls

POLICEMEN have arrested one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police announced Tuesday.

Police served a warrant of arrest on Felix Salinas delos Santos Jr., 60, at around 4:30 p.m. Monday, January 14, in Purok Alovera in the village of Buluan, Ipil,

Zamboanga Sibugay.

Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Luis Licup, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, said Delos Santos, a resident of Tab-abaca, Basilisa on Dinagat Island, was wanted for rape in relation to Republic Act 7610, otherwise known as the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

The arrest warrant against him was issued on January 28, 2017 by the court in Surigao City. No bail was recommended.

Licup said Delos Santos was listed as the number one most wanted person in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. (Bong Garcia)
