No. 1 most wanted person arrested

POLICE operatives have arrested one of the most wanted person in a manhunt operation in Zamboanga del Sur province, an official announced.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested wanted person as Edwin Ongub, 45.

Galvez said Ongub was arrested around 3:30 a.m. Friday, November 2, at Purok Matamad in Tabon village, Lapuyan town, Zamboanga del Sur.

She said Ongub is listed as the number one most wanted person in Lapuyan and has standing warrant of arrest for the crimes of murder with no recommended bail and qualified theft with P24,000 recommended bail.
