Police arrest wanted man in Mutia town

POLICE authorities have arrested one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Norte on Saturday, the police reported Monday.

Chief Superintendent Edwin De Ocampo, deputy regional director for administration, identified the arrested fugitive as Jofey Gamo alias Tito Gamo, 53, of Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental.

De Ocampo said Gamo was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest in the village of Poblacion, Mutia town, Zamboanga del Norte.

He said Gamo is the number two most wanted persons in the town of Rizal, a nearby town of Mutia in Zamboanga del Norte province.

He said Gamo has standing warrant of arrest for murder issued by the court in Dipolog City.
