Police nab crime syndicate member

POLICEMEN have arrested an alleged crime syndicate member in an intelligence-driven law enforcement operation in Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Police Major Roldan Molate, Liloy police chief, identified the arrested suspect as Hussain Alim Ribo alias Osay, 37, an alleged member of the Muloc Crime Group.

Molate reported that Ribo was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 11:10 p.m. Saturday in Kayok village, Liloy.

Molate said Ribo has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued on November 26, 2014 by the court of Liloy town.

He said the suspect was placed under the temporary custody of Liloy Municipal Police Station prior commitment to the court. (SunStar Zamboanga)
