Sibugay town's 9th most wanted falls

AUTHORITIES have arrested one of the most wanted persons in a manhunt operation in Zamboanga Sibugay province, the police said Thursday, May 24.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested fugitive as Mohalidin Omar, 22, a resident of Datu Tumangong, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Galvez said Omar was arrested at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday at Sitio Basakan in Sininan village, Kabasalan in the same province.

She said Omar is the number nine most wanted person of Kabasalan town and has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Highway Robbery And Brigandage issued by the court in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
