FIRST District Representative Celso Lobregat has advised the faculty and students of the Talisayan National High School (TNHS) to take care of the project given them.

Lobregat issued the advice as he led on Monday, November 5, the turnover a newly-completed P11.4 million school building project to the TNHS.

The school building project, which was initiated by the lawmaker, was undertaken by a private construction firm under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Lobregat told the faculty and students to put to good use the school building project so that the other generations of students can still used the school building.

TNHS principal Ricardo Ramiro said the newly-completed building will be used by the Senior High School students, “who are squatting in other rooms of the school.”

Pilarito Bautista, TNHS General Parents-Teachers Association president, said the parents of the students are grateful to Lobregat for initiating the school building project.

Julieto Fernandez, City School Division assistant superintendent, lauded the lawmaker for his untiring support to the education sector in this city.

The new school building was built just beside another two-storey building, which was also initiated by Lobregat. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
