LAWMEN have arrested in an intelligence-driven law enforcement operation one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Sunday.

Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Julito Agbay Kinawalan, 31, a resident of Pange village, Saiyan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Duco said Kinawalan was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 1:15 p.m., Saturday, at Purok Biasong in Sumalig village, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

He said Kinawalan is listed as the Top 6 Most Wanted person in the Tambulig town and has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued by the court of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur on November 18, 2018.

He said the suspect was placed under temporary detention at the Tambulig Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
