Zamboanga City to build parking building

THE Zamboanga City Government is set to construct this year a P50 million multi-level parking building in this city.

Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar said the P50 million allocation has been included in this city’s 2020 annual budget of P4.266 billion.

Salazar has thanked the private sector for helping the city government to have the proposed parking building realized this year.

In addition, Salazar said the city government will also finance P133 million worth of flood control projects and new road network projects amounting to P173 million to help ease traffic and spread growth in new areas.

She said also in the plan for this year is a P20-million investment for hospitals and health centers and another P20 million for new village halls and fire stations. (SunStar Zamboanga)
