Sunnexdesk

THE City Government, as part of the whole approach to tackle the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic, will soon launch a dedicated site for all Covid-19 related data and statistics in Zamboanga City.

The City Hall Public Information Office said Monday, August 17, that the Covid-19 Data Center will be a one-stop repository and online tracker that will synchronize and centralize management data for the city, such as real-time updates for confirmed cases, testing numbers, case mapping in village, and other relevant information and data.

It said the online tracker highlights an up-to-date count of confirmed and suspect cases, including the breakdown of cases according to type, identification, sex, age and status.

It will also have data and figures for the occupancy status of quarantine and isolation facilities and private and public hospitals, as well as the inventory of equipment, supplies and personnel protective equipment (PPE) in hospitals.

A contact tracing form and a database of all Covid-related executive orders in the city will also be made accessible to residents. (SunStar Zamboanga)
