EACH of the municipalities in the province of Zamboanga del Sur will receive an annual allocation of P25 million from the provincial government for road concreting projects.

Zamboanga del Sur Governor Victor Yu made the announcement Friday, June 30, 2022, during the inauguration and turnover ceremony of the municipal officials in San Miguel town.

Yu said the provincial government allocation is separate from the P10-million allocated fund from the congressional fund of Second District Representative Victoria Yu.

The allocation from the Second District congressional office is for other priority projects of San Miguel town.

Yu encouraged the village chiefs of San Miguel to support their new local chief executive, Mayor Ex Ocapan.

The governor said that he already instructed Ocapan to do a three-year development plan, which will be given priority attention by the provincial government. (SunStar Zamboanga)
