Zamboanga del Sur town's most wanted person nabbed

A FISHERMAN, who has been tagged as one of the most wanted persons in Zamboanga del Sur, was arrested in the province of Lanao del Norte, the police reported Monday, May 6.

Police Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis Licup, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Enrique Marson, 27, the top 6 most wanted person in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.

Marson was nabbed in a manhunt operation conducted by policemen from Sultan Naga Dimaporo and Tukuran towns around 12:20 p.m. Sunday in Purok 6, Sitio Cartimco in the village of Poblacion, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte.

Marson has a standing warrant of arrest for murder issued on December 27, 2011 by a court in Pagadian City.

Galvez said Marson was temporarily detained at the Tukuran Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Philippines)
