THE Santo Niño de Cebu has been the most recognizable image of the Child Jesus among Filipinos. The image is the oldest Christian artifact in the Philippines. It was a gift from Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan to Hara Amihan, wife of Raja Humabon, who was later named Queen Juana.
