“I know for a fact that there are no plans of filing a case against the governor. I sat in a meeting together with President Duterte, ES Salvador Medialdea and Sen. Christopher 'Bong' Go discussing this issue last night, and I personally confirmed from them that Secretaries Año, Guevarra, and Roque had no intentions of filing suit,” Dino said.

“In fact, on Monday, Gov. Gwen and I will have an audience with President Duterte himself to present the situation in Cebu: our current process and protocols, as well as our best practices such as the EOC (Emergency Operations Center), Project Balik Buhay and VVOC (Visayas Vaccination Operations Center), to name a few. This is to find a win-win situation that would work for both the National Government and the Province of Cebu,” he added.
