The Argao Police Station headed by Police Major Jeremie Sheila Gurteza received the information that Kintanar was in Barangay Poblacion, Argao. They implemented the warrant at 9:25 p.m.

Harold is accused of killing his wife, Angelie Lopez Kintanar, whose dismembered body parts were found in different areas in the cities of Mandaue and Cebu in October 2020.

During the police’s laboratory examinations and cross-matching through fingerprint, DNA and dental examination, a match was found with Angelie.

In May 2021, the Mandaue City Prosecutor’s Office indicted Harold with parricide, a non-bailable offense.

Angelie’s sister Analou Lopez was emotional after learning of the arrest of her brother-in-law, who reportedly killed his wife out of anger.

The Lopez family now wants to adopt the child of Angelie and Harold. They want to help the child recover from the incident, and Lopez said they will consult a lawyer on how to gain the child’s custody.

Lopez said the family wants her brother-in-law to reveal the real reason behind the murder of her sister. (AYB/ANV)
