2 die, 2 hurt in CamSur bus-jeep collision

TWO people were killed while two others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a jeepney in Camarines Sur province Saturday morning.

A radio report said that the collision took place along Quirino Highway in Ragay town around 9:45 a.m.

Report said that the jeepney was bound for Bicol while the bus, belonged to Amihan Bus Line, came from Naga City and was headed for Manila.

Authorities said the fatalities were the jeepney driver and a passenger.

The two injured victims were identified as certain "Marilou" and a boy named Aries Nieva.

They were rushed to the Maria Eleazar Hospital in Tagkawayan town in Quezon province for treatment.

Investigation is ongoing as of this posting Saturday. (Sunnex)
