THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Wednesday spotted two Low Pressure Area (LPA) in the country.

The 2 a.m. bulletin of the weather bureau said the first LPA was estimated at 200 kilometers north of Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Another LPA was estimated at 800 kilometers east of Visayas.

These weather disturbances will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over central and southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Residents living in the said areas are advised to take the necessary precautionary measures as Pagasa said one of the LPAs might develop into a tropical storm. (Sunnex)
