THREE people were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in a town in Cotabato Friday morning.
According to a Bombo Radyo report, authorities identified the victims as Kagi Hamsa Oranon, Lalai Oranon and Baishy Oranon.
The EID was reportedly found in the gate of the house of one Haron Oranon, who is running for a seat in the October 25 local elections in North Upi, Maguindanao.
Police believed the incident that happened around 2 a.m. was politically motivated. (Sunnex)
