POLICE arrested Saturday three suspects in the bombing of a passenger bus that killed 10 people and injured 30 others in North Cotabato.

A radio report said that authorities from Sheriff St., Barangay Rosary Heights 3, Cotabato City arrested the suspects identified as Ibrahim Alimanan alias Siang Ulama, Alex Samal alias Yazer Talusog and Abdul Halib Talusob at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The suspects' arrest came after Pigko Tangkulo, 16, allegedly related to the suspects, admitted that the suspects ordered him to plant the bomb inside the Rural Transit Bus.

Police are set to file on Tuesday multiple murder and frustrated murder charges against the suspects.

The bus, which had 50 passengers, was travelling along Kabacan-Matalam highway in North Cotabato province when an improvised explosive device exploded around 10:45 a.m. of October 21. (Sunnex)
