FOUR people were killed while two others were injured when armed men attacked a Cotabato City village Friday dawn.

A radio report said that four unidentified gunmen strafed two houses in Barangay Tukananes around 1 a.m.

The fatalities were identified as Toktok Peno, 20; Abubakar Mokamad, 17; Johannie Edon, 17; and Toto Salem, 16. They are all residents of Purok Dimalanas in the said barangay.

Authorities identified the wounded as Mokrabel Abdul and Tato Datumanong.

Recovered from the crime scene were empty shells of caliber 45 pistol and M-16 Armalite rifles.

Investigation is ongoing to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the shooting. (Sunnex)
