SUBLING gipanawagan sa 4th Infantry Division ang mga myembro sa New Peoples Army (NPA) nga abri sila sa kinsa man gustong mo-surrender ug mobalik sa sabakan sa katilingban, apan kung magpabilin sila sa kalihukan, mo atubang kini sa ilang mga operasyon.

Kini ang pamahayag ni Major General Ricardo Visaya samtang gidawat nila ang pag surrender sa 37 ka mga sakop sa “Umayam Kawilihan” sa Militia ng Bayan sa NPA sa Agusan del Sur.

“I am reiterating that I have ordered all units of 4ID to continue their combat operation without let-ups to ensure that those rebels who opted to stay in the mountains will not have an easy life creating havoc and harassing people purposely to extort money and solicit forced cooperation,” ingon ni Visaya.

Apan sa opisyal nga pamahayag sa Communist Party of the Philippines (CCP), kasagaran sa mga giingon nilang mga surrender sa NPA matud pa peke o walay kamatuoran.

“This AFP claim of a mass surrender is a hoax,” ingon sa opisyal nga pamahayag sa CPP.

“It is a desperate bid to cover up its losses in the field and the steady growth of the New People’s Army, especially in the areas covered by the 4th ID in the Caraga region,” dugang sa maong pamahayag.
