FIFTY-ONE Negrenses completed the Contact Center Services National Certificate (NC) II Course at the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (Nolitc) in Bacolod City Monday, January 13.

The graduates age 18 years old and above are scholars of the provincial government.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, in a message delivered by Executive Assistant Charina Magallanes-Tan, said that provincial government-run facility has transformed the educational landscape of Negros Island.

Lacson said it has become the impetus of his administration in reshaping the socio-economic landscape of the province by equipping Negrense youth with relevant trainings responsive to the needs of the growing information technology – business process management (IT-BPM) industry.

The governor reiterated his call to the graduates to be responsible products of Nolitc because “their actions will determine where they came from.”

“They should do well because their future is not in some remote distant time but rather the future is now,” he added.

For his part, Fifth District Board Member Agustin Ernesto Bascon encouraged the graduates to believe in themselves and talents.

Nolitc Vocational School Administrator Ma. Cristina Orbecido, meanwhile, urged the graduates to continue embracing the center’s core values and fulfill their passion and work on it seriously. (EPN with reports from Capitol PIO)
