THE Countryside Food Resources Corporation (CFRC) held its annual stockholders meeting at its principal office in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City Monday, March 1.

The controlling camp, in a press statement, said that Olivia V. Yanson (OVY), Leo Rey Yanson (LRY), Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas, Charles Dumancas, Anita Chua, Arvin John Villaruel, Rey Ardo and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of CFRC's Board of Directors during the meeting.

The board then held an organizational meeting where LRY was re-appointed as chairman of the Board and president of CFRC.

OVY, meanwhile, was re-appointed as CFRC's corporate secretary and treasurer.

Despite due notice, stockholders Roy V. Yanson, Emily Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez, and Ricardo V. Yanson Jr. were absent, the statement said.

The chairman and president assured that despite the challenges it faced since 2020, the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remains committed to providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation for all, it added.
