THE Land Tax Division of the Bacolod City Treasurer's Office has encouraged taxpayers to settle their real property tax (RPT) early to avail of the 20 percent discount on advance payment.

Acting City Treasurer Arlene Memoria said the CTO will limit the number of clients that they will serve starting December 1 in observance of the minimum health protocols set by local government and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The Land Tax Division will accept advanced RPT payments from December 1 to 31 at the 3rd floor of Ayala Malls Capitol Central from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Sundays, Memoria said.

The CTO will also be open on December 4, 11 and 18 (Saturdays) and on December 8 and 30 (non-working holidays) to accommodate taxpayers, she said.

Taxpayers are requested to bring their previous official receipts or Tax Declaration for accurate identification of their properties, the acting city treasurer added.
