Marayo Bank opens in Hinoba-an

THE Marayo Bank Inc. opened its 11th branch in the municipality of Hinoba-an Wednesday, November 28.

Bank chairman Franklin Fuentebella, president and general manager Vicente Javellana Jr., Hinoba-an Mayor Ernesto Estrao along with other officials and guests attended the activity.

The Hinoba-an branch is located along the national highway at Barangay 2.

The opening of its Hinoba-an branch is part of the bank’s program to expand for fast and efficient service to the people in the communities.

With its Hinobaan branch, Marayo Bank will now be able to cover the whole southern Negros and parts of Negros Oriental as it will be servicing Cauayan, Candoni, Sipalay City, Bayawan, Basay and Sta. Catalina.

During the last 10 years, Marayo Bank registered rapid growth in terms of profitability and resources.

Its financial ratios, such as return on capital, return on assets, Capital Adequacy Ratio or (CAR), which is a benchmark used by the Central Bank in measuring the capitalization of banks, are much better than the industry standards, both for universal banks, commercial banks, and rural banks.

Marayo Bank offers real estate mortgage loans, chattel mortgage loans, crop loans, teacher’s salary loans, salary loans to private and government employees, commercial loans, allotment loans, and pension loans.

Other branches in Negros Occidental are in Pontevedra, Kabankalan, Binalbagan, Bacolod City, E.B. Magalona, Cadiz and San Carlos City.
