Electric consumers to get rice packs

Sunnexdesk

KOREAN Electric Company Salcon Power Corporation (Kepco SPC), in cooperation with Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) Inc. officials, distributed some packs of rice to consumers who paid their electric bills at the Ceneco main office.

“Kepco SPC is very happy to launch this year the giving and distribution of rice, dubbed as Merry ChRICEmas. In this humble way, we want to convey and share to our Ceneco consumers the spirit of Christmas. Through this activity, we wish to ensure that lucky consumers will have this staple food to share for Christmas,” said Jong Ryoon Yoon, Kepco SPC president and CEO.

Yoon, accompanied by Kepco SPC marketing manager Seong Hee Yoo and assistant marketing manager Julius Christian Reyes, turned over to Ceneco officials led by president Dwight Carbon and general manager Sulpicio Lagarde Jr. some 750 packs of five-kilo rice for distribution to lucky consumers.

Seventy consumers who paid their bills at the main office on Thursday, December 20, went home with a smile after winning the rice packs in a raffle. The distribution of rice in the other Ceneco payment centers and collection agents will continue until the supply lasts. (PR)
