Fresh seafood by the seaside in Talisay

Carla N. Canet

PEOPLE love to eat fresh seafood by the seaside located near the CICM Retreat Seminary in Miramar, Zone 15, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Lauro “Boyet” Pronda and wife Teresita of Talisay who owned Bambooyet Seafoods put up some bamboo huts by the seaside where people can dine the best tasting Talaba and other seafood such as steamed shrimp peppered with garlic, grilled pork belly, Bangus, Tilapia, sinigang na bangus and shrimp, and fried Tilapia.

They started in January this year with only nine small tables and sheltered by saculin and nipa.

They have seafoods like talaba sourced from Calibo, Roxas, Iloilo, Hinigaran and E.B. Magalona.

The diners love to eat using bare hands.
