Octaviano: The other side of the Divas

Rose Jessica Octaviano

THE Divas came to Bacolod and gave a spectacular concert for the children of Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc.

Kalipay produced the “Diva2Diva” concert with Kuh Ledesma, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Nanette Inventor, and Mitch Valdes to help build a safe, fun and loving home for disadvantaged children.

The three and a half hour concert was attended by many Negrenses who enjoyed a night listening to beautiful love songs by Kuh and Zsa Zsa and laughing out loud from the performances of Nanette and Mitch.

Kuh and Zsa Zsa also sang songs together and the four sang a medley of Abba’s songs. Many sang together with them, as well as, dance with some of the songs. Truly, it was a spectacular night.

They can be divas on stage – Kuh is known as the Pop Diva and Zsa Zsa as the Divine Diva – but they also have soft hearts for children.

Kuh has visited Kalipay’s two homes and she keeps coming back. She gives talks to the Home Staff – motivating and inspiring them. She also plays and sings with the children. She encouraged fellow Divas to help Kalipay through this concert. She also motivated her friends to help the foundation.

Kalipay is full of gratitude to the people of Negros who watched the concert. We believe that the show was a success because of you.

You can also help us rescue more children by becoming a donor, a volunteer or advocate. To learn more about Kalipay, please visit our website (https://www.kalipaynegrensefoundation.org.)
