Sipaway National High School covered court opened

THE local government of San Carlos City formally opened and turned over the newly built covered court of Sipaway National High School (SNHS) to the local Department of Education (DepEd) last week.

The City Government allocated P7 million for the construction of the project, which included the stage and bleachers under the supervision of Engr. John Leur Virtucio of the City Engineering Office.

Schools Division Superintendent Anthony Liobet and San Juan School Principal Edgar Palagtiosa accepted the facility and vowed to take good care of the property given to them and help improve the community.

A ceremonial switch-on for the electrification project of SNHS which was installed in September 2021 was also held after the blessing.

Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona, Sangguniang Panlungsod Member Mark Cui, Punong Barangay Simplicio Caballero Jr. also led the official opening of the facility while Rev. Fr. Vicente L. Ramon Jr., OAR officiated the blessing. (PR)
