WATERFRONT CEBU CITY HOTEL AND CASINO -- SunStar, the mother company, has gathered its editor-in-chief and marketing heads from its affiliates in Baguio, Pampanga, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Bacolod to its one-of a-kind event dubbed as “Best of Cebu 2018 party” to award the best brands, products and services in a night of partying and gastronomic experience.

SunStar and Organique’s Best of Cebu 2018 Party presented by AirAsia and Sun gathered winners listed in the Best of Cebu 2018 edition which was published last December 2018.

The best in food businesses, beverages, hotels, restaurants, malls, among others were awarded in a grand party by SunStar officials Julius Neri, Jr., chairman and president; Gina Atienza, vice chairman and Bayani Jess Garcia, treasurer for Bacolod affiliate and AVP for Human Resource, Legal and Administrative offices.

The party was so grand where the high society of Cebu gathered and partook the best foods and beverages, roamed to various creatively decorated booths and enjoyed free samples.

There were raffles in between the awarding.

SunStar gave these businesses their time to shine in a festive gathering of patrons wanting to validate for themselves the recognition as being the “best” given to these products.

The initiative was pro-business with SunStar as its channel.

And the response was very overwhelming as it was already the 6th year that SunStar Cebu held this event.

The process, starting from selection stage to judging and awarding was indeed stiff where no one can lobby to get the award.

Truly the bests came out as awardees.

With the recognition they got, the winners enjoyed increase in sales as people got curious as to why they were adjudged as best in their line of business.

Furthermore, it was also a night where SunStar Cebu launched its Best of Cebu mobile application available for iOs and Android users.
