A MUSLIM couple has exchanged sweet "I dos" in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Couple Nel and Lyn got married under the Islam wedding rites (Nikah) held in Calatrava, Negros Occidental on August 1.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by DAR-AL-DHIKR Islamic Center president Imam Omar Betita.

The ceremony was sealed on Tawheed al-Ibaadah which means maintaining the unity of worship as under the Qur'an. It contains the guidance for Muslims on the nature of Allah, and how to live a good life that pleases him.

Tawhid is the belief in the oneness and unity of Allah as expressed in the first of the five pillars of Islam, the Shahadah.

The Muslim family and guests wished the couple a lasting relationship founded on great love.

Due to the Covid-19, the reception was done with a minimum number of guests such as family members and few friends.
