SEVENTEEN staff members of the Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) are now allowed to leave the provincial quarantine facility at the Mambukal Resort in Murcia after the results of their RT-PCR tests were released and showed negative for coronavirus.

Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said the PDRRMO staff, which included their head, Dr. Zeaphard Caelian, had all tested negative for coronavirus.

Diaz said they wanted to make sure that the PDRRMO staff are all okay, especially as their services are important since the moratorium on the arrival of locally stranded individuals in Negros Occidental will expire Thursday, July 9.

The services of the PDRRMO was earlier suspended after one of their ambulance drivers in Murcia tested positive for the virus last Friday.
