TWO individuals were arrested for illegal possession of firearms which is a violation of the ongoing Commission on Elections (Comelec) gun ban in Sitio Binocauan, Barangay Manlucahoc, Sipalay City, April 30.

According to the Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office, arrested were identified as Francisco Gepanaga, 35, and Gino Panaligan, 19, both residents of the barangay.

Recovered from their possession were one unit of .45 caliber pistol with six live ammunitions, and one unit of .38 caliber pistol loaded with six ammunitions.
