Kabankalan City Mayor Pedro Zayco and La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Mangalimutan are the latest local chief executives of Negros Occidental to join Lacson to be vaccinated.

They will join Mayor Manuel Escalante of Manapla, Hinoba-an Mayor Ernesto Estrao and Hinigaran Mayor Jose Nadie Arceo, who have earlier signified their willingness to be inoculated with the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine.

Tumimabang said the mayors are either senior citizens or have comorbidities.

Department heads who volunteered to be vaccinated are Dr. Renante Decena, provincial veterinarian; lawyer Japhet Masculino, provincial agriculturist; Dr. Narissa Lemoncito of the Philippine Rural Development Project; and June Caberoy, chairman of the Bids and Awards Committee, who will get AstraZeneca vaccines.
