TWO police chiefs in Negros Occidental were relieved from their posts effective January 2.

Relieved were Chief Inspector Irma Teoxon, chief of La Castellana Municipal Police Station, and Chief Inspector Robert Dejucos, chief of Calatrava Municipal Police Station.

Teoxon was moved to Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) as deputy of Police Community Relations Office while her post was assumed by Dejucos.

Dejucos was replaced by Chief Inspector Rocky Desear, who came from Nocppo headquarters.

Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil Jr., outgoing director of Nocppo, said Teoxon was relieved from her post for her promotion.

She also needs it for her career development, he added.

Castil also said that Dejucos’s relief was just part of the normal movement in the provincial police office.

Senior Inspector Hercules Trigue Jr., deputy chief of Himamaylan City Police Station, temporarily assumed the post of Senior Inspector Randy Babor as officer-in-charge of Isabela Municipal Police Station as the latter will undergo schooling.

Babor will return to Isabela town after his 45-day schooling.

Meanwhile, Castil will be officially replaced by Senior Superintendent Romeo Baleros effective on Monday, January 7.

Castil, who served Nocppo for almost two years, will be transferred to Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas in Iloilo City.

His relief came after his two-year tenure will end within the election period.

Baleros is the outgoing chief of the intelligence division of PRO-Western Visayas. (GYM)
