4 caught in separate anti-illegal drug operations

FOUR persons were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Negros Occidental on Thursday, February 7.

In Bacolod City, Donald De Chavez was collared in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2, Bacolod City.

Police recovered from the suspect seven sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P125,000, and the P1,000 marked money.

He is detained at Police Station 2.

In another development, John Michael Salgado, 25; Mary Rose Nogales, 25; and her sister Jeaner Nogales, 23 all residents of Barangay Banago were on board a Toyota Innova when they were spotted by the police who were conducting visibility patrol in Barangay Lag-asan in Bago City, Negros Occidental following a series of robbery incidents in the area.

The driver sped away after the police approached their vehicle.

They were intercepted by pursuing police.

The suspects allegedly yielded five sachets of suspected shabu, tooter, lighter, a pair of scissors, and their sports utility vehicle.
