4 nabbed in Bacolod drug bust

FOUR drug personalities were arrested in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 3 in Dawis, Barangay 14, Bacolod City Wednesday morning, June 26.

Police identified the suspects as Jerry Bugna, 19, of Barangay 10; Sam Parimar, 20, of Barangay 10; Rogemar Kalalang, 30, of Barangay 14; and Marlon Cordova, 26, of Barangay 8, all in Bacolod City.

Police Major Ruel Culanag, chief of Police Station 3, said Bugna sold a sachet of shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride to a police undercover around 1:35 a.m.

He said Bugna’s three companions were also in the area and were arrested for possession of illegal drugs.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 11 sachets of shabu weighing 10 grams with estimated market value of P125,000, the P200 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
