5 nabbed for narcotics

FIVE persons were arrested for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs in different areas in Negros Occidental in the past two days.

In Talisay City, Dennis Barcillo, Armando Barcillo, and Ruel Orera were arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay Zone 9 Thursday, October 11.

Police recovered from them nine sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P30,000, the P500 marked money, two lighters, a Smith and Wesson .38 caliber, and five live ammunition of the said firearm.

Dennis is a third top drug personality who is under the priority target list of the city.

In Bacolod City, Marice Diaz of Barangay Singcang-Airport was collared in a drug raid in the said village on Wednesday, which resulted to the confiscation of three sachets of suspected shabu amounting to P15,000, the P500 marked money, and P320 in cash. Diaz is detained at Police Station 8.

Also arrested in a drug bust on the same day was Princess Viajedor at Barangay 27, this city.

Police seized from her seven sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,000, drug paraphernalia, coin purse, and the P500 marked money. She is detained at Police Station 4. (GYM)
