NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson personally distributed the P100,000 cash assistance to eight Negrense centenarians in the Cities of Escalante, Sagay and Cadiz and the municipalities of Manapla and E.B. Magalona Friday, November 20.

The centenarians were Adoracion Monido, Josefina Gonzaga, Encarnacion Alegado, Juan Diesma, Lilia Deocampo, Rosario Guintalaga-an, Marcela Lucareza and Nieves Concerman.

They were also given Certificates of Centenarian Award.

Also present in the distribution were Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office Officer-In-Charge Merle Garcia and staff.

Second District Representative Leo Rafael Cueva, Mayors Salvador Escalante Jr. of Cadiz City and Alfredo Maranon III of Sagay City also joined the governor in the distribution in their respective LGUs. (PR)
