Bacolod's 5th 'most wanted' nabbed

THE fifth most wanted person in Bacolod City was arrested by operatives of Police Station 1 on Gatuslao Street, Barangay 15, Bacolod Monday evening, July 15.

Police identified the suspect as Gyan Dexter Casabuena, 30, of Purok Marapara, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod.

Police Major Jovil Sedel, chief of Police Station 1, said the suspect has an arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Act of 2004.

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Philadelfa Pagapong Agraviador of Regional Trial Court Branch 43, Bacolod City.

Sedel said the suspect is detained at station's custodial facility for failure to post his bail of P8,000 for his temporary liberty.
