Bacolod's no. 8 most wanted person arrested

THE 8th most wanted person in Bacolod City was arrested by operatives of Police Station 9 and Bago City Police Station at Purok Tuburan, Barangay Malingin, Bago City yesterday afternoon.

Police identified the suspect as Robertio Tongha, 39, of Purok San Roque, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said the suspect was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for the crime of rape at about 4 p.m.

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Ray Alan Drilon of Regional Trial Court Branch 41, Bacolod City with no bail.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 9 and will be endorsed to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
