THE Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) has announced on Tuesday that they are temporarily suspending the acceptance of probable and suspected Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases.

CLMMRH chief, Dr. Julius Drilon said the hospital has already reached full bed-capacity allocated for the admission of Covid-19 patients, classified as moderate to critical condition.

Drilon said the hospital will re-open admissions again once beds become available.

The hospital chief has also confirmed that 29 of their personnel have tested positive for Covid-19.

The infections are composed of eight doctors, four nurses, and 17 non-medical support staff.

113 hospital personnel have also been placed on quarantine.

The CLMMRH out-patient department, department of obstetrics, department of gynecology, and neonatal intensive care unit also remain closed.

"CLMMRH defers the re-opening of the OPD services until further notice except for patients undergoing chemotherapy," Drilon stated in the hospital's advisory.
