Disaster management council approves over P200M in proposed projects

THE Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) has approved the proposed P210,195 million worth of programs, projects and activities to be funded under the 2020 PDRRM Fund during the council meeting presided by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson at the Provincial Capitol's Social Hall in Bacolod City Monday, January 20.

The council has also approved the PDRRM Plan for 2020-2022 that was presented by Provincial Disaster Management Program head Dr. Zeaphard Caelian.

The Provincial Climate Change Action Plan for 2020-2022 spearheaded by the Provincial Environment Management Office was also approved by the council.

The Provincial Accounting Office presented the PDRRM Fund Balances report for the year 2019 and the previous years.

Board Members Juvy Pepello and Rita Gatuslao and Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz were also present at the meeting. (PR)
