"REHABILITATION of the Shopping Center in Bacolod City will be implemented soon."

This was stressed by Bacolod City Representative Greg Gasataya after they allocated a total of P50 million for the rehabilitation of the Shopping Center.

Gasataya said the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will rehabilitate the roads, drainage, and street lights system.

"Usually, there were floods in the area, so we will rehabilitate its roads from Hilado-Burgos streets going to Huaming and Narra," he said.

He added that drainage will be constructed in said areas.

Gasataya noted that it is a local road, but they were able to find funds to rehabilitate the area.

"It's about time to improve the area," Gasataya said.

He said they will also rehabilitate the area of B. Aquino Drive, which they sourced out a total of P46 million funds.

"It's a tourism road and the construction will start this year. So all in all, we will implement a total of P96 million for these projects. If our officials are working together, there will be more projects in the city," he added.

Gasataya said the National Government has allotted a total of P1.5 billion worth of projects for Bacolod City.
