TWO persons were arrested in a drug bust at Barangay Rizal in Silay City Friday, May 24.

Police identified the suspects as Muriel Mamabatac, 45, of the said village; and Jade Biaco, 27, of Jaro, Iloilo.

Both of them are listed as drug personalities in the northern Negros Occidental city.

Police seized from them nine sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing five grams worth P75, 000, the P3,000 boodle money, including the P500 marked money, and P300 in cash.

The two suspects are detained at Silay City Police Station and facing appropriate drug charges.
