THE joint elements of San Carlos City Police Office, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Visayas and PDEA Western Visayas, led by Investigation Agent Francisfil A. Tangeres, conducted a buy-bust leading to the dismantling of a drug den in Zone 6, San Juan Baybay, Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The operation resulted in the arrests of Jose Owen Marabe Palabrica, alleged drug den maintainer and suspected pusher; Roberto Sayso Molmorida; Amado Marabe Palabrica; Reah Fernandez Bartulin; Edrico Dignos Frasco Jr. and Ronnel Carbonilla Laspobres.

Confiscated during the said operation were three pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 20 grams with an estimated market value of P136,000.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects, PDEA Western Visyas said.
